I've started compiling a list of Tasmanian blogs. My current results are at the top of my right-hand blogroll. If anybody knows of any others, please let me know about them. I want to list all of them - even the ones that I don't like (not that any of these first 5 fit into that category).
This could be difficult, especially since the meaning of blog hasn't been completely settled. For my part, I draw a distinction between blogs published on blogging software such as TypePad, MovableType, Blogger, Radio etc and the more personal journals published on LiveJournal and similar communities. Why? Well if for no other reason, LiveJournal already has community management features. It's relatively easy to find all of the other Tasmanian LJs with LiveJournal. Stand-alone blogs don't have this benefit, which is why they belong on a list like this one.
I would love it or somebody already had a list of Tasmanian blogs, so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I have a page which will show which Tasmanian blogs have been updated in the last x number of hours, but that's not quite the same thing.
